Agents
Agents are non-human identities or AI runtimes that call Eden. They can use an Eden service identity, an Adam runtime-agent record, or a dedicated gateway key depending on the protocol and governance boundary.
Choose The Right Identity
| Need | Use |
|---|---|
| An automation needs an Eden control-plane identity | Service Agents |
| A governed AI runtime needs tools, approvals, or long-running work | Runtime Agents |
| An external client needs a model gateway connection | A dedicated gateway key and its integration page |
Integrations
Every listed client has a dedicated configuration page. OpenAI-compatible integrations use the Eden /v1 gateway URL; Claude Code uses the native Anthropic-compatible path.
